The Memory Palace
Dutch National Archives, The Hague
11 artists were asked to create a small exhibition each in response to an artefact from the Dutch National Archives. The interior was constructed from hundreds of archive boxes and we created corresponding environmental graphics introducing each separate gallery as well as the labels throughout the exhibition. The entrance to the exhibition was brought to life using projection mapping across the wall of boxes. Central to the exhibition we designed an in-depth interactive data visualisation table bringing to life the immense collection within the archives and unveiling statistics about who and how the collection is accessed.
